This weekend I had my first experience with a Violet Wand and it was fantastic. 

I've always had an irrational fear of electricity...I blame it on my brother picking me up and throwing me into the electric fence on multiple occasions while we were mucking out the stalls.  Or it could be that I was always the girl with really long hair in physics class that they always used to demonstrate the Vandigraph machine.  I always flick surfaces before I touch them to dissipate the spark, so I don't feel it.  Walking around at work I flick door knobs before I touch them, every time.  There's so much static there. 

I somehow feel different now.  Every time I grab a door knob I remember Saturday night.  I remember that feeling all over my skin, and I smile.  They'll never know why.
